Sawyer Fredericks, former winner of The Voice, will release his Hide Your Ghost album later this month.
Sawyer Fredericks has announced a release date for his long-anticipated new album, “Hide Your Ghost.”
And if that isn’t reason enough for fans to celebrate, he’s also released the music video for the impressive title track.
Pre-orders for the 11-song album began today (March 2) on iTunes. Anyone pre-ordering there will get “Hide Your Ghost” as an instant grat download.
The full album will be available March 30.
“Hide Your Ghost” will mark Sawyer’s second album since winning Season 8 of The Voice and his first since parting ways with Republic Records.
It’s the control over his music that has Sawyer most excited about the upcoming release, he has said in a Pledge Music video.
“I have done this all independently,” Sawyer says. “One of the reasons I’ve very proud of this album is because it’s all written and produced by me.
“I feel this is the first album that I’ve released that really showcases my original work and who I am as an artist.”
Folks who want more than a digital download can still head to Sawyer’s Pledge Music page for those offers, which include versions of the album on CD and vinyl and other special merchandise.
As for the intriguing “Hide Your Ghost” video, which you can check out below, it was created by paper cut and stop motion animation artist Andrew Benincasa.
