Sounds like Sawyer Fredericks will have a new album out in 2017.

Last week, he posted art on his social media accounts for an upcoming album called “Hide Your Ghost.”

He’s also about to announce a tour that will also feature Haley Johnsen, a Top 24 finisher on Season 11 of American Idol, and Gabriel Wolfchild and the Northern Light.

Like Sawyer, Gabriel starred on Season 8 of The Voice. And, like Sawyer, Gabriel has new music. In his case, it’s already out — a fine EP called “Morning Like These.”

Haley released her own seven-track EP, “Through the Blue,” in 2015. But sure to check out the tracks called “Love Can’t Calm Me Down” and “Cuts and Bruises.”

Tour dates will be announced Monday. Sawyer is urging everyone to sign up for his newsletter on his website to be among the first to get the news.

Sawyer and Haley have already announced a June 30 show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh.

UPDATE: Tour dates are out. That June 30 show in Pittsburgh will also feature Gabriel Wolfchild and his band. The tour also includes a July 19 date at the Birchmere Music Hall in the D.C. area. For the complete list, head here.

Meanwhile, “Hide Your Ghost” will mark the first music for Sawyer since leaving Republic Records and going independent.

His 2016 debut album, “A Good Storm,” debuted at number 48 on the Billboard 200, but spent just one week on that chart.

Oddly, it included just six news songs since four of the tracks had been released on an EP about five months earlier.

Here’s a live performance of the song, “Hide Your Ghost.”
