Add Evan McKeel to the list of Season 9 contestants from The Voice who have already released new music.

In Evan’s case, it isn’t the least bit surprising.

During his exit interview after finishing 11th, Evan said he already had about two albums worth of new material to release.

And that included an acoustic/ambient rock album he said he’d poured his heart into for the past couple of years.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, Evan released the seven-track, “Live Session No,. 1.”

It’s available on iTunes, of course. But you can also check out the entire album on Evan’s website.

He sounds especially good on the album-opening “A Chance You Ought To Take” and “Never Get Enough.”

Evan, 20, of Richmond, Va., auditioned for The Voice with MUTEMATH’s “Typical,” turning four chairs before joining Team Pharrell.

During his time on the show, he cracked the Top 50 on iTunes Top 200 singles chart twice, with his covers of “Overjoyed” and “Smile.”

He also released a pre-show EP, “Teal,” in 2013.

You can also follow Evan through Facebook. On Twitter, he is @EvanMcKeel.
