The good news for FOX is that it’s mess of a singing show called The Four continues to draw more viewers,

Thursday’s show was watched by an estimated 2.81 viewers, it’s best number since Season 2 began. The previous high, in fact, was 2.58 million.

The bad news is that fewer people are watching the four than any other show on a major network.

More than twice that many tune in for The Big Bang Theory on CBS (5.83 million) and Little Big Shots on NBC (5.84 million) and more tune in to ABC’s The Gong Show (2.91 million) as well.

And though The Four is clearly aimed at a younger audience, the show’s ratings among 19 to 49 year olds still can’t beat repeats of The Big Bang Theory among those viewers.

Officially, in terms of ratings among 19 to 49 year olds, The Four finished second in this Thursday’s ratings with a 0.7 share, compared to 1.0 for Big Bang.

Which is again a sort of victory for FOX. When Season 2 began, Diddy and company were bringing up the rear.
