Tuesday night’s quest for the instant save on The Voice was the most dramatic yet in Season 7.

That’s partly because of what was at stake: A spot in next week’s semifinals.

And that’s partly because all four contestants seemed so evenly matched.

In the end, the save went to Chris Jamison of Team Adam, meaning the elimination of twice-saved Ryan Sill of Team Gwen as well as DaNica Shirey and Luke Wade of Team Pharrell.
