The Season 9 cast of The Voice set a record for most four-chair turns during the blind auditions with 14.

Well, the Season 9 eliminations began with the battle rounds last week, and three four-chair turn recipients — Manny Cabo, Lyndsey Elm and Krista Hughes — were among the victims.

The Season 9 cast is also one of the show’s youngest ever, with 11 singers who were under 18 when they auditioned.

Eight of those singers survived the battle round, including Braiden Sunshine, Emily Ann Roberts, Shelby Brown, Chance Pena, Madi Davis, Siahna Im, Ivonne Acero and Zach Seabaugh. Ivonne and Chance earned battle round steals.

Amanda Ayala, Cole Criske and Sydney Rhame were eliminated.

Nearly all of the advancing artists participated in conference calls with the media over the past two weeks.
