Can Shi’Ann Jones and Adam Cunningham dodge elimination again tonight on The Voice?

I mention Adam because he landed in the bottom two last week along with Jon Mero and needed the instant save to advance.

Monday, he got to sing a song far more suited to his style, yet still finished 10th among the Top 11 in terms of iTunes rankings.

That’s a sign that he could be in trouble again despite coming off a solid performance.

I mention Shi-Ann because, for the second straight week, she landed at the bottom of the pack on iTunes.

Last week, she was nevertheless voted into the Top 11.

This week?

Well, her cover of “Listen” didn’t quite match up to Monday’s other performances.

That’s less a knock on Shi’Ann, the youngest finalist on The Voice and a singer loaded with potential, than a nod to the talented Season 13 cast.

When Adam Cunningham winds up 10th on iTunes after the performance he turned in last night … you know you’ve got tons of talent in your Top 11.

Tonight we’ll also be treated to Blake Shelton’s new single, “I’ll Name the Dogs.”

Wonder if he can name the former Voice contestants, including his own team members, who have released great music in the last couple of weeks? Or the former winner whose about to drop her sophomore album?

As I said last week, those are the singers who should be getting the guest spots on The Voice.

Advancing to the Top 10 on The Voice:

* Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake): After last night’s brilliant performance, she deserved to have her name announced first.
* Addison Agen (Team Adam): Lost in the celebration of Chloe’s success if the fact that Addison hit number two on iTunes, trailing only Chloe.

Now a musical interlude courtesy of Team Miley, singing Shania Twain’s “I Feel Like a Woman.” Hey, this is a fun performance. Quick quizz: Which singer hit the most bum notes? Answer: It wasn’t any of the Season 13 contestants.

Also advancing:
* Brooke Simpson (Team Miley): Nice to see that folks recognize her vocal prowess. I don’t think we’ve seen Brooke’s best yet.
* Davon Fleming (Team Jennifer): I didn’t like the song pick, but his performance of “I Have Nothing” went over very well with fans.

Now Adam and his remaining singers — Adam Cunningham and Addison Agen — are taking on “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. I believe this is the third song we’ve heard from Fleetwood Mac this season, since Chloe previously covered “Landslide” and “The Chain.” That was a bit of a mess, especially when Adam Cunningham totally missed his cue to step in on vocals at one point. But nice to see Addison get a chance to rock out.

Also advancing:
* Red Marlow (Team Blake): He wound up at number one on the country chart this week. America is warming up to Red, as I suspected they would.
* Noah Mac (Team Jennifer): Yep, he’d better advance. I’m beginning to envision he and Addison in the Season 13 finals.

Jennifer now joins Blake for “I’ll Name the Dogs.” Did they turn Jennifer’s mike off?

Also advancing:
* Keisha Renee (Team Blake): Not surprised to see her advance. She was second among the country singers on iTunes.
* Shi’Ann Jones (Team Jennifer): She dodges elimination again. Wow.
* Ashland Craft (Team Miley): She had to be a little nervous once Shi’Ann was safe.

That leaves Adam Cunningham and Janice Freeman to sing for the instant save.

Really? Janice in the bottom two. That should not be. She’s one of the most fierce singers on the show.

Now she faces long odds. She’s from the West Coast, and a West Coast singer has never received a Twitter save.

And it looks like the save is going to go to Adam again. The Twitter save claims another West Coast victim.
