The Voice selects a Top 12 tonight.
Two members of each team will be voted into the finals.
Then each coach will select a third singer to advance.
Team Adam:
Prediction: Joshua Davis will be voted into the finals. So will DeAnna Johnson, who has a surprisingly big fan base. Adam will likely chose to advance Brian Johnson, the other singer (along with Joshua) he stole from Team Blake.
What happened: Yep, voters preferred Joshua Davis, who’s going deep into this competition, and DeAnna, who might if she conquers her nerves. And Adam advanced Brian over Nathan Hermida and Tonya Boyd-Cannon.
Team Blake:
Prediction: Country singer Corey Kent White and former Steel Magnolia member Meghan Linsey will be voted into the finals. That will leave Blake with one of the night’s toughest decisions, choosing between Sarah Potenza and Hannah Kirby. Sarah’s just been too fabulous through four performances to go home.
What happened: Votes picked Corey and Meghan, sure enough. But Blake selected to advance Hannah and not Sarah. Wow, not sure I agree with that. Sarah had been so, so good. And this is supposed to be about the voice. Also eliminated: Brooke Adee.
Team Christina:
Prediction: Kimberly Nichole and India Carney turned in two of the best performances in the live playoffs. They should be voted through. Rob Taylor will get the third spot, courtesy of a Christina Aguilera save.
What happened: India Carney and Kimberly Nichole were voted through and, as predicted, Christina picked Rob for the third spot. That means the end of the road for Lexi Davila and Sonic.
Team Pharrell:
Prediction: Teens Sawyer Fredericks and Mia Z. will be voted in the finals. Koryn Hawthorne will be rewarded for her moving “How Great Thou Art” performance with Pharrell’s third singer save.
What happened: It went just as predicted. The soon-to-be Season 8 champ Sawyer and Mia were voted through. Pharrell chose former Team Christina member Koryn over Lowell Oakley and Caitlin Caporale.

“the soon to be season 8 champ Sawyer” could be true, but it is far from a fact. India can out sing any of them, and has, thus far. The true unknown is the famous “song choice” because if India can sing more than one kind of song–cause voice alone will not do it, in spite of the name of the show–if she can pick the correct songs–as Sawyer or Sawyer’s coach has done, she will win. Sawyer is a cute kid and very likable and has used the correct songs (India has not) and so he could win–but “the voice” is all about India
