The Voice completed its Season 25 lineup Tuesday night as each coach selected a final member for his or her team.

And the show saved some of its best vocalists for last.

Val T. Webb became the eighth and final four-chair turn of Season 25. Not to mention the fourth to join Team Chance.

Meanwhile, the coaches indicated more of them would have turned for the artists who followed — Kyle Schuesler, L. Rodgers and Olivia Rubini — had their teams not already been filled.

Gotta admit, though, I felt a bit bad for 14-year-old Raina Chan from Stafford, Va., who showed tons of potential, but took the stage with just one spot remaining on Season 25.

Hopefully, she’ll returned to audition again in a future season.

Next week, the battles begin. The bad news: The playoff pass, first used in Season 23, is back.

One of the most ill-conceived of many ill-conceived gimmicks Voice producers have come up with, the playoff pass allows singers to skip the knockout round and advance straight to the playoffs.

That makes it sound like a prize that should go to the absolute best contestants. But in Season 23, it was awarded to singers who had lost their battle and been in danger of elimination.

Perfect logic, right? Hopefully, producers have reworked it so it makes more sense in Season 25.

Here’s the recap of Tuesday’s show. Following the links will take you to a profile of each singer with information about already released music and more.

BEST OF THE NIGHT

Kyle Schuesler, 19, Huntington Beach, Calif., “The Scientist” by Coldplay: A really nice opening from Kyle prompted a quick chair turn from John. Kyle continued to impress and got chair turns from Dan + Shay and Reba as well. Since Chance’s team was already full, he couldn’t turn. The means Kyle turned every available chair. Reba called his voice relaxing and soothing. John said he did a nice job of making the song his own. Kyle decided to join Team Dan + Shay.

ALSO MADE THE SHOW

Olivia Rubini, 24, Wilmington, Del., “Long Long Time” by Linda Ronstadt: Olivia was only a few notes into the song when John Legend turn. She has a nice emotive tone. Olivia sings with lots of emotion and stage presence. Reba called her a great singer. Chance said he thinks Olivia is a star. Dan called it an amazing performance and said he loved the passion she poured into the song. John said he’s thrilled that he didn’t have to fight the other coaches for Olivia, because he’s sure it would have been a battle. That’s because Olivia nabbed the very last spot on the show. Every other team was full when she auditioned.

Val T. Webb, 43, Texas, “Nobody’s Supposed to Be There” by Deborah Cox: Val’s strong opening prompted a quick chair turn from John. Chance soon followed. An impressive glory note earned her chair turns from Dan + Shay and Reba as well. That made her the eighth and final 4-chair turn singer of Season 25. The coaches rewarded her with a standing ovation. John complimented her on her poise and grace. Shay called her a star. Dan called it one of the best performances the coaches have seen. Chance said she made the song her own. Reba said she loved the performance as well. Val joined Team Chance, giving him a quartet of four-chair turns for Season 25.

L. Rodgers, 34, Baltimore Md., “Wild Horses” by The Rolling Stones: L. has a unique tone, and lots of power behind it. She’s does a nice job with her cover, but is literally on the final note when Reba turns around. Reba called her a “powerhouse” and said she couldn’t help but turn for someone who performed with so much emotion. L. appears to landed on the right team. She says she and her wife are rewatching “Reba,” the TV show. John calls her vibe infectious. And Dan says she has a “beautiful voice.”
