When voting ended at noon, seven songs from Monday’s episode of The Voice were already in the Top 10 on iTunes.
That includes two apiece from Adam Wakefield, Alisan Porter and Hannah Huston.
Adam is number one on the charts — the first time that’s happened all season — with his original song “Lonesome, Broken and Blue.” It’s also number one on the iTunes country singles chart.
The last man standing on Team Blake figured to have a slight edge in the battle for the title because of his recent strong showing on iTunes; he also had the most popular songs each of the last two weeks.
But early-season favorite Alisan Porter is sitting at number four and number four with her cover of “Somewhere” and her original “Down That Road.”
And late-surging pre-school teacher Hannah Huston was at number three and number seven with her cover of “Every Breath You Take” and her snazzy original, “I Call the Shots.”
Only Laith Al-Saadi failed to put two songs in the Top 10.
Each downloaded song counts as a vote on The Voice. If an artists places a song in the Top 10, the downloads of that song are multiplied by 10 for voting purposes.
