Tim Atlas from The Voice Season 9
Ashley Dubose from The Voice Season 4
PXTN from The Voice Season 10
New post-Voice music out includes an EP from Tim Atlas and singles from Paxton Ingram and Ashley Dubose.
Here’s a bit about each of those releases.
The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.
* Tim Atlas from Season 9 released a five-track EP called “Quota” on Friday. He calls the EP “a small summary of my life in the last year and a half.” The EP features a 50-second intro and four songs, three of which (“Courtside,” “Wallflower” and “Peace At Last”) had already been released as singles. The new song on the project is “Water.” Tim told American Songwriter the song is about “how difficult it can be to ask for help when you find yourself struggling. I think the narrative around finding help & reaching out to people when you’re in a dark place can be oversimplified in many cases. I think the best thing we can do for the people we love is telling them and keep those doors open.” Tim’s music was streamed 13.1 million times on Spotify in 2021.
* PXTN, aka Paxton Ingram from Season 10, has a new single out called “On My Way.” ‘It’s been a long time coming,” writes Paxton, whose last release was “Take It” more than a year ago. “Here’s to new beginnings, love, and never giving up on yourself.” Paxton wrote the song with J BACH and producer Nonms.
* Ashley Dubose from Season 4 released a new single called “I No Mind” earlier this month. She also recently released the music video for “Michelangelo,” a collaboration with Finnish artist Misha. The new single was produced by Ben Obi of Savannah Street Music.
