Five more artists earned spots on Season 18 of The Voice Tuesday night.

Blake Shelton snagged his second four-chair turn so far in Toneisha Harris and also landed the night’s youngest singer, 14-year-old Levi Watkins.

Also joining the cast were Arei Moon of Team Nick Jonas, Zach Day of Team John Legend and Chelle of Team Kelly Clarkson.

Here’s a recap of Tuesday’s show with Voice Views’ picks for the night’s top performances.

BEST OF THE NIGHT

Toneisha Harris, 44, Roswell, Ga., “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner: Toneisha turned out to be the night’s only four-chair turn, enticing John Legend to spin his chair first, followed by Nick, Blake and Kelly. It was well deserved considering she delivered a pitch-perfect performance with power and passion to spare. Nick called it a powerful, phenomenal vocal. Kelly called her voice a blessing. Blake pitched his experience at guiding a gifted singer through the show. Toneisha decided to join Team Blake.

RUNNER-UP:

Arei Moon, 28, Boston, Mass., “Miss Independent” by Kelly Clarkson: Arei was just one line into the song when Nick Jonas turned his chair, quickly followed by Kelly. But Kelly was blocked. Meanwhile, Arie turned in a sassy, confident version of the song and belted out one heck of a performance-ending glory note. John Legend said she electrified the whole room. Nick said two notes was all he needed to hear to decide to use his block.

ALSO MADE THE SHOW

Zach Day, 25, Stearns, Kent., “Weak” by SVW: Zach entices an early chair turn from John Legend with a soulful version of the song. An impressive high note midway through the song prompted a chair turn from Kelly Clarkson as well. Kelly called his performance “Impressive,” which earns her some razzing from her fellow coaches. John praises Zach’s vocal acrobatics. Zach joined Team John.

Chelle, 18, Bargersville, Indiana, “idontwanttobeyouanymore” by Billie Eilish: Chelle needs just a couple of la da das to provoke a chair turn from Blake Shelton. Nick joined Blake in turning when the song and Chelle’s vocals swelled. Kelly eventually followed suit. Nick said he’d love to write songs for Chelle. Kelly said she heard beautiful potential in Chelle’s voice, but wants her to get lost in the message of the song rather than worrying about being vocally perfect. Chelle picks Team Kelly.

Levi Watkins, 14, “Hey, Soul Sister” by Train: The young man’s performing the song on ukulele and is about halfway through the performance when Blake Shelton turns. The coaches are all shocked to find out Levi is a 14-year-old male. Blake said the performance was outstanding, regardless of age. John Legend compliments him for making the song his own.

ALSO AUDITIONED

Cassidy Lee, 23, Jacksonville, Fla., “Gold Dust Women” by Fleetwood Mac: Cassidy delivers a gritty performance, but can’t entice a chair turn.
