Voice standout Noah Mac drops new song, music video

Noah Mac has released a new single, Lovesgottahold.

Noah Mac released “Lovesgottahold” Thursday, humbly calling the new single “another song I made in the shed in my backyard.”

He apparently recorded an entire album worth of such songs prior to his Top 6 run on The Voice Season 13 with plans to release the project after the show.

Noah’s now changed that plan, instead opting to release many of the songs as singles over a period of time.

“Lovesgottahold” is the second in the series, following “Soliloquy.” And if the new song was created in Noah’s backyard studio in Dublin, Calif, the accompanying video clearly was not.

It was filmed in the East Bay area with Chris Thach behind the camera and Ethan Zalunardo as director. You can check it out below.

Noah figures to have more time to devote to his art in the coming months. He graduated from high school earlier this month and has already been collaborating with producers and other artists in L.A.

“Now that I have graduated from high school, I want to dive in and create, explore, collaborate and see what happens,” Noah says in a press release about the new song.

“My fans have been awesome and patient. They understand this is all a process and takes time, and I want to give them an experience, not just a song to listen to.”

Here’s “Lovesgottahold.”

Thanks so much for the update! Mac is so low-key, fairly reclusive, so it’s good to get a thorough report on him. Great article.
