Want to help review the shows when the Idols land in the area next week?
The American Idol tour will be making stops in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and in Baltimore, Md., on Wednesday.
If you’re a York County resident and plan to attend either concert, I’d love to hear why you’re going and what you think of the show.

Don’t be bashful. Somewhere, I even read comments from Tatiana Del Toro about the Idol show in Los Angeles.
In other Idol news …
There was so much controversy over Kelly Clarkson’s third album, I was hoping for her sake “All I Ever Wanted” would be turmoil free.
No such luck. Controversy is now raging because Kelly’s latest single, “Already Gone,” sounds so much like Beyonce’s single, “Halo.” In fact, it seems the same backing track might have been used on both songs.
According to reports, Kelly tried to keep “Already Gone” from becoming her third single. Unsuccessfully, of course.
Meanwhile, PopEater is running a poll on the topic. Two-thirds of respondents say they can tell the two songs have the same backing track. With a little more than 17,400 votes cast as of Tuesday night, 57 percent said they preferred Kelly’s song.
Me included. But it’s a shame “Already Gone” had to be a single, since Kelly’s new album is filled with potential hits.

Somehow, Jennifer Lopez got embroiled in the controversy over whether Paula Abdul will return as a judge for Idol in season nine.
Lopez is denying she ever had any interest in being a judge. Here’s a link to a People story on the topic.
Well, Jennifer, that’s what you get for having dinner with Ryan Seacrest.

While we’re on the topic of contracts, apparently executive producer Ken Warwick has signed a three-year deal to remain with Idol.
The name might not ring a bell, but season eight Idol watchers are familiar with Warwick’s work.
He’s apparently the guy responsible for mangling this year’s semifinal format.
And since he was in charge, I guess he also gets the blame for the fourth judge.
And, extending the logic another step, for Kara’s “No Boundaries” nonsense, too.
In return, he gets a three-year deal in the eight-figure range?
Paula, it should be noted, has never bungled so badly.
