Season 5, The Voice

Will Champlin holds an iTunes edge on The Voice

How close are the remaining three contestants on The Voice?

Oh, so close, at least in terms of iTunes performance.

Just add up the chart performance of the seven songs Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin have covered since the live shows began.

If you do, you’ll find just 10 chart positions separate the best chart record (Jacquie Lee) from the worst (Tessanne).

And the most unlikely of the finalists — thrice-saved Will Champlin — might actually hold the edge in iTune voting entering Monday’s Season 5 finale.

Let’s remember that The Voice counts all downloads during the live shows toward each contestant’s vote total after the finale.

And The Voice awards bonus points whenever a contestant lands in the Top 10 on iTunes.

Will has accomplished that twice, with his Top 8 night cover of “At Last” and with last week’s performance of “Carry On.”

Tessanne topped the iTunes singles chart last week with “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” but it marked the first time she earned bonus points.

And Jacquie cracked the top 20 on iTunes four times, but last week marked her first Top 10 showing, too. She checked in at number seven with “Angel.”

And if you’d like to watch any of the live performances again, head here for Jacquie Lee, here for Tessanne and here for Will.

Check back for a live blog Monday night, complete with song by song grades.

Here’s a look at those chart finishes.
