Zach Seabaugh, a Season 9 standout, dropped “Not How I Want To” on Friday. It’s a song he wrote with Chance Pena, another Voice alum. Zach describes it this way: “I wrote this song as a way to clear my mind and work through the realization that people come and go, and for good reason. To some this may be heartbreak and a relationship that wasn’t meant to be – to others it may be that the person you are isn’t the person you used to be. Whatever the season, I hope this song finds you when you need it most.” The song follows “Co-Pilot” as Zach’s second release of 2023. Zach’s heading out on The 8th Wonder Tour with The National Parks band this fall, with lots of East Coast dates planned. You can check them out here.

Grant Ganzer from Season 7 has a new song out called “Nobody Sees Me.” “Withdrawal from the world and isolation have always been a safe places for me where I feel closest to myself, but they are certainly not without their short comings and mental battles. This song is a little peek behind the curtains of that mental state,” he writes on Instagram. It’s Gratnt’s first single of 2023, but his two previous releases — “Can’t Help Myself” and “Imposter” — have both been streamed more than 1 million times on Spotify.

Drew Cole from The Voice Season 14

Drew Cole from Season 14 dropped “Deadbeat,” his first single of 2023 on Friday. He says he wrote the song with friend Brennan Loney when he wasn’t feeling like “the best version of myself.” The song, he adds, “has notes of humorous self-deprecation wrapped in upbeat summer vibes. Getting in touch with my shortcomings helped me rediscover my better side.”
