Joshua Vacanti from Season 21 has an emotional new single out called “More?” He thanks The Voice and Voice coach John Legend for the confidence to share it. He thanks fans for giving a listen to a song that’s not a “summer banger.” He describes his first post-show single this way: “‘More?’ isn’t pretty …. It is gritty, it’s angry, and raw. It’s a tangled mess of emotions that tries to bend itself into hope. Hope for a better, safer, more accepting, and loving future. A future where being yourself doesn’t put you in danger. As of late May, the Gun Violence Archive has counted more than 260 mass shootings in the United States this year. Last year, the group counted 647 mass shootings. Here’s to taking action, and raising my voice. My small way to ask for change.” Joshua wrote the song with Derrick Harvin and Xavier Quarterman.
