Two former Idol finalists earned their first Dove Awards Tuesday night. Mandisa, the most successful Christian artist ever to get her start on Idol, received a special Uplift Someone Award. And Colton Dixon won the award for best rock/contemporary album for “A Messenger.”
Well, NBC media is having a bit of trouble with photos from tonight’s show. Bottom line: Photos from three of tonight’s battles, those won by Kat Robichaud, Matthew Schuler and Ray Boudreaux aren’t available yet.
When you think about it, the battle rounds on The Voice put singers in a truly unusual position. They’re competing against their battle-round partner. At the same time, they’re expected to harmonize and put on a good show as a duet.
