The verdict is in … well, at least sort of. And for the most part, fans are apparently ignoring the lackluster reviews critics have given “Baptized,” the new album from Chris Daughtry and his band.

And now we have a final six on The Voice, consisting of Jacquie Lee, Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Will Champlin and Cole Vosbury. Oh, I almost forgot to add Matthew Schuler.
When I ranked the Top 8, I wrote that if the show ended last week, Matthew Schuler should win. Easily. The first bit of bad news for Matthew is that the show did not end last week
We haven’t gotten new music from Angie Miller since Season 12 of American Idol ended. But that’s about to change.

Well, it looks like Will Champlin got the breakout performance he needed on The Voice. And he did it with the most unlikely of songs — Etta James’ “At Last.”
Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee performed for Team Christina Aguilera in the Top 8 show on The Voice Monday night. Both advanced from last week’s show based on fan voting.
James Wolpert, Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin performed for Team Adam Levine in the Top 8 show on The Voice Monday night. All three advanced from last week’s show based on fan voting.
