Will Champlin holds an iTunes edge on The Voice
How close are the remaining three contestants on The Voice? Oh, so close, at least in terms of iTunes performance.
How close are the remaining three contestants on The Voice? Oh, so close, at least in terms of iTunes performance.
So we’re down to three on The Voice. And, in many ways, it’s an unlikely final three.
Jacquie Lee of Colt’s Neck, N.J., was just 16 when she auditioned for The Voice. She auditioned with Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” and enticed two judges to turn their chairs.
Will Champlin of Reseda, Calif., was 30 when he auditioned for The Voice. He turned three chairs with his rendition of Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You” and has now advanced to The Voice finale.
Tessanne Chin of Kingston, Jamaica, was 28 when she auditioned for The Voice. She turned four chairs with her rendition of “Try” and has now advanced all the way to The Voice finale.
The Voice selected a final three Tuesday night. And viewers wisely advanced Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin.
Tuesday was the night The Voice named its Season 5 finalists, of course. But it was also homecoming night of sorts on the show.
Blake Shelton won four awards, and Carrie Underwood and Scotty McCreery snagged one each during the American Country Awards on FOX Tuesday night. Blake, who was otherwise occupied coaching on The Voice, took album of the year honors for “Based on a True Story.”
Tessanne Chin was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Adam, she made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Jacquie Lee was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Christina, she made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel.”
