Check out the iTunes Top 200 singles this morning, and you’ll find the names of two of the final four on American Idol — Jena Irene and Alex Preston. But they aren’t there because of the songs performed on Wednesday night’s Top 4 show.
In a twist of a more pleasant sort, each of the Top 4 on American Idol took the stage for three solos Wednesday night. Jena Irene and Caleb Johnson were the night’s top performers.
On Wednesday night, the American Idol Top 4 sang for a chance to make a triumphant trip home this weekend. And it’s pretty clear who two of those triumphant trips should belong to.
