Her audition: Mariso Corvo, 33, of Staten Island, N.Y., performed “Perfect” by Pink. A huge glory note near the end of an energetic performance was followed by chair turns from Gwen, Blake and Kelly. Kelly predicted she could make the finale and says she has range for days. Marisa joined Team Kelly

Here’s more about Marisa:

* Trained as a classical pianist, Marisa began her musical journey at a young age, performing at Julliard’s Merkin Hall at age 8 and at Carnegie Hall at age 9.

* She graduated from the College of Staten Island in the City University of New York system and sang the national anthem at her graduation ceremony.

* She honed her singing skills performing with her father’s band Nightmoves in the New York area.

* In 2012, at age 24, she auditioned for American Idol for a 13th time, earned a golden ticket to Hollywood and advanced all the way to the Vegas showcase round before being eliminated. She was using her full last name, Pontecorvo, at the time.

* Since then, she has tour with Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, Diane Warren, The Jonas Brothers and Toby Keith, according to her web bio.

* Her web bio also says she had a residency at Mastro’s Steakhouses across the country and performed regularly in Las Vegas at MGM properties.

* In 2019, she relocated to Los Angeles and performed at the Coronado Film Festival with Diane Warren.

* She also released her debut pop single, “Me,” which you can check out below.
