New post-Voice music out includes country singles from Danielle Bradbery and Casey Muessigmann and an older cover from Jessie Pitts.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

* Danielle Bradbery, The Voice’s Season 4 champ, released a fun new single called “Stop Draggin’ Your Boots” on Friday. And it sounds like one that could put her back on the country music charts. Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson wrote the song about a gal frustrated with a guy who won’t fully commit. Says Danielle: ““This song is a fiery anthem for every girl that’s ever felt strung along by a guy. The bold lyrics and sassy beat really pulled me in and reminded me of that fun, Shania Twain, 90’s country pop vibe that I’m pumped to channel into my music.” Danielle dropped the accompanying music video on her Facebook page. It’ll be available everywhere Monday.

* Casey Muessigmann from Season 3 dropped his own fun country single this week. It’s called “I Love Jesus, But I Drink a Little.” And he issued a challenge to fans, promising to shotgun back to back beers at his Thursday night show if the song hit 1,200 streams on Spotify by 6 p.m. I haven’t seen an update on whether or not that happened. The tune was written by Casey, Pat Pollifrone, Tyler Hammond and Johnny Cotten.

* Jessie Pitts, Top 12 on Season 7, and friend Mia Mor recently released a lovely cover of Dan + Shay’s “Tequila.” The song, which Mia says they recorded “years ago,” came out on National Tequila Day (July 24). Congrats also go out to Jessie on her recent birthday and marriage (she’s now Jessie Pitts Carter).
