The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, Sept. 20. Here’s more about Hailey.

* She’s a 15-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist from St. Martin, Mississippi.

* She auditioned before the judges in the Season 19 premiere, showing off lots of vocal firepower on a cover of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Soulshine,” but failing to earn a chair turn.

* That said, the judges showered her with praise once realizing she was just 14. Kelly Clarkson called her voice “insane” for her age. Blake Shelton predicted she was a year away from being able to compete on a show like The Voice. We’ll find out if he was correct.

* Hailey has released six songs to streaming sites, including a cover of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and originals, including “Mean Girls (Love It or Hate It)” and “Look What You’ve Done.” Check out “Mean Girls,” her most streamed song to date, below.

* Over the past year, Hailey has been performing with veteran musician Tim Black as Hail & Tim.

* In fact, the duo won an original song contest sponsored by K99 Country and iHeart Radio in April, earning an opening gig for Hardy and Niko Moon in the process.

* They also recorded an original called “Shadows of the Moon,” but it doesn’t appear to have hit streaming sites yet. You can check it out on YouTube.

* During her Season 19 audition, Hailey mentioned that she played football. She wasn’t joking. In 2016 at age 10, she was selected to play in the Mississippi Prospects Gridiron Classic, featuring the best youth football players in grades 3 to 8. And she played for St. Martin’s High School team last fall.

* She also mentioned that her dad was a Marine, for 20 years, it turns out. Hailey posted a cover of Zach Bryan’s “Leaving” to her Instagram in April, saying the song means “so much to me” because of her dad’s sacrifices.

* And Hailey has apparently jumped an alligator at least once in her young life.
