Here’s a bit about each of those releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

LACES from The Voice Season 2

LACES from The Voice Season 2

* LACES, from Season 2, released “Permanent” on Thursday, just in time for Valentine’s. She calls it the “anti-love love song.” Here’s how LACES described it to Wonderland Magazine: “It’s for the people that walk alone proudly and maybe carry some darkness with them. I’ve never been very comfortable allowing myself to rely on someone. I’ve never let myself believe that a partner would walk through life’s journey with me proudly, boldly, and authentically until I fell in love with my husband. This is a love confession and declaration of my respect for our bond. No matter what happens -– this love is permanent and has made its mark on me forever.” LACES was Charlotte Sometimes on The Voice, before adopting a new stage name.

Kat Robichaud from The Voice Season 5

Kat Robichaud from The Voice Season 5

* Kat Robichaud, from Season 5, rocks out on “Signs” a song from Misfit Cabaret’s sci-fi themed musical, variety comedy show, “A Space Oddity.” Misfit Cabaret is one of Kat’s post-Voice creations, and it’s back up and running after being sidelined by the Pandemic. “Space Oddity” opened this weekend and plays through next weekend in San Francisco. Kat describes it this way: “It’s got this Wizard of Oz vibe where me and the Darling Misfits get sucked into the fifth dimension. And the only way we’re able to get back to earth is with the help of everybody’s favorite alien rock star, David Bowie.” It also features guest appearances by Barbella and Dr. Who. Who could ask for more?

Amber Sauer from The Voice Season 14

In January, she dropped the international remix of “All My Help.” And there’s a clip on Amber’s Instagram of her performing the song in South Korea. “Grateful to get to share my music with people from all over the world!” she writes.
