Below you’ll find mini profiles of 12 singers rumored to have earned spots on The Voice Season 22.
I couldn’t find enough information on these singers to complete full bios, like I did for the other 44 Season 22 contestants.
But I’ll be expanding these into full profiles after each singer’s blind audition airs. Especially since three of the 12 below are reported to have made it all the way to the Top 16.
Alyssa Witrado: Something of a mystery contestant in that you won’t find many examples of her singing online. Her TikTok identifies her as a 19-year-old singer, but doesn’t contain any videos at the moment. Neither does her YouTube. You will find her performing three covers on her Instagram.
Andrew Igbokidi: He’s a star student from Hot Springs, Ark., having graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in the spring and received a full-tuition, four-year scholarship to the UAMS College of Medicine. In terms of music, he has about 800 followers and more than 17,000 likes on TikTok.
Austin Montgomery: He’s a young singer from Hemet, Calif., who appears to specialize in country music. On Instagram, he has a photo of he and his dad attending a Willie Nelson concert and a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.” And his only video on YouTube is a cover of “Tennessee Waltz.”
Brayden Lape: He’s 16, stands 6-foot-4 and is a three-sport standout at Grass Lake High School in Michigan. In fact, he recently threw for three touchdowns and ran for another leading the Warriors to a season-opening win. But you’ll find more photos of him holding a guitar than a football on his Instagram. Judging from Country Boots and Bands Facebook page, he’s an acoustic country artist.

Chello: He has nearly 1,500 likes on an active TikTok page that’s been more focused on humor than music lately. But you’ll also find several covers there. One of the most recent is of “Gary Come Home” from SpongeBob. He last posted a cover to Instagram in the summer of 2018, doing an acoustic version of Post Malone’s “Stay.”

Grace Bello: On YouTube, she writes “I love to sing and make covers in my room.” Lots of covers judging from her TikTok (27,000 likes) and YouTube (more than 700 subscribers). She’s a fan of Justin Bieber, writing alongside a cover of “Ghost” that “I cry to his songs so here’s me singing it instead.” And Sabrina Carpenter is a fan of Grace, complimenting her on doing one of the best covers of “Honeymoon Fades” she’s heard on an episode of “You Sang My Song.” She also praises Grace for a beautiful voice and amazing vibrato.
Hillary Ward: She sings lead for a trio known as the Blues Berry Hill Band out of West Chester, Pa. (the Philly area). She studied vocal performance at Penn State University and lists Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Adele and her mom Lisa as her major musical influences. You can find the several performance videos on the Blues Berry Hill Instagram account. Oh, and Hillary got married this summer. And she’s now Hillary Torchiana.

Julia Aslanli: Her Instagram account is private and her TikTok and YouTube are void of videos at this time.
Kique Gomez: Not a lot of information is available on Kique, but he makes reference to a tour in a 2019 Instagram post and has photos from multiple live gigs in 2022, so he’s clearly been performing for a while. He has about 260 followers on TikTok.
Sol Song: He’ll be 29 when Season 22 begins and is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he studied sociology and anthropology. He’s only posted once to Instagram in the past two years; that was for a cover of Adele’s “Easy On Me,” which you can also check out on his YouTube channel. He also sings in Spanish.
Zach Newbould: He’s from Massachusetts. identifies himself as 17 years old on YouTube and has built a substantial TikTok following. To the tune of 71,000 followers and more than 700,000 likes. His covers of “This City,” “Bruises,” “Someone You Loved” and “Falling” all have more than 200,000 views.
