Here’s more about Bri:
* She’s from the Forth Worth, Texas, area, but moved to Nashville in 2019 and has been working as a full-time musician there.
* On Instagram, she calls making The Voice a “lifelong dream come true.” After all, she started auditioning for a spot on the show at age 16 and told The Fort Worth Star Telegram that she’s auditioned for the show about a dozen times since then.
* As for what we missed on the show … well, you can check out Bri’s full and quite impressive cover of “I’m With You” because she’s released it to streaming sites. “I spent a lot of time and energy making the song unique, into making it a vocal showcase,” she says on Instagram. It’s a special song to her, one she estimates she’s performed 1,000 times.
* In a 2022 interview with Authority.com, Bri explained that her father was a pastor, her mother was a worship leader “so I literally grew up on stage.” She knew at an early age that she wanted to become a singer.
* That said, she also dealt with lots of bullying in school and began writing songs to cope with that experience. She estimates that she’d written 200 songs by age 15.
* She later became co-founder of the Teen Guidance Foundation and began traveling to schools to present “Debully” assemblies. Her mantra, according to her Spotify bio: “kindness and worthiness for worthiness for all.”
* And since moving to Nashville, Bri’s also released lots of music, including a debut album calls “Chapter One” in 2022. A song called “Everything I’m Not” from that album has been streamed 1.8 million times on Spotify alone.
* Her “I’m With You” cover isn’t even her first release this year. In January, she released a song called “Sink” that’s already been streamed 440,000 times on Spotify. It’s a song about dealing with anxiety that she wrote with Madison Wolfe. Check out the accompanying music video below.
* Bri also has some Voice connections. In 2022, she released a song called “There’s Still Tomorrow” featuring former Voice champ Jake Hoot.
* And she hosts an all-female performance night at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Nashville called Let’s Glow Girls Live.
