Eliza Pryor from The Voice Season 26

Her audition: Eliza Pryor, 17, Dallas, Texas, “Linger” by The Cranberries: Eliza sounded a wee bit nervous at the opening. But she showed off a nice tone and power. The soNg was coming to a close when Snoop Dogg pushed his button at the very last second. He said he liked the control she displayed and hopes to help her with her desire to explore singing more jazzy music.

Here’s more about Eliza.

* She’s been an actress and singer and released a catchy debut single called “Bite Back” in May.

* Eliza made her movie debut at age 10, playing the role of Zelda in “Spinning Man,” starring Guy Pearce and Pierce Brosnan.

* She’s also appeared in several TV shows, including playing a lead role in Team Kaylie, which ran for 20 episodes on Netflix in 2019-20. IMDb describes her character as “an eccentric middle school student and self-proclaimed witch.”

* In 2018, she landed a spot in Acapop! KIDS, a group formed by the creators of Pentatonix. She’s been featured on several singles the group released, including “Dynamite,” “Watermelon Sugar” and “Kings and Queens” in 2021.

* She performed on the Kelly Clarkson Show with the group in 2020 after Acapop! KIDS released a medley of several of Kelly’s hit songs. Eliza sings on that recording too.

* Eliza also appeared on Season 17 (2022) of America’s Got Talent with Acapop! The group made it to the semifinals, performing a pair of originals before being eliminated.

* Minus Acapop!, Eliza has performed some pretty impressive shows, including a headlining gig at the Troubadour in L.A. and an L.A. So Far Sounds concert, both earlier this year.

* Along the way, Eliza has built an impressive social media following with nearly 34,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 13,000 on her TikTok.

* Billie Eilish is one of her favorite artists to cover, but her most popular TikTok — with more than 2 million views — is “Velvet Ring” by Big Thief.

* About “Bite Back” — in a TikTok encouraging fans to stream the song, Eliza writes that she was studying for her AP pre-calculus final “when I realized I accidentally released my first single.” Check it out below.
