You won’t have to convince Danny Joseph of the healing power of music.

Now based in Dallas, Texas, the 37-year-old is from London, where he used to busk everyday in the underground subway.

Shortly after moving to the U.S. in 2016, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. And last year, after a major flare-up, he underwent surgery to have his colon removed.

Now, a year later, he’ll be competing in the finals of The Voice Monday night as a member of Team Reba.

It all started with a blind audition cover of “I Put a Spell on You” that was so spell-binding, all four coaches turned their chairs.

For those wondering, Danny has three songs on streaming sites, including two 2023 originals — “It Was Just Like Yesterday” and “Forever and Ever Amen.”

Here’s look back at Danny’s performances on The Voice.
