Kolby Cordell of The Voice Season 27

Kolby Cordell is among the artists who auditioned for Season 27 of The Voice.

The Voice returned Monday, Feb. 3 with the coaching quartet of Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, Michael Buble and Adam Levine.

Blind auditions will continue each Monday until all their teams are full.

Here’s more about Kolby.

* He’s Kolby Cordell Robertson, a California born and based R&B artist.

* On his website, Kolby says he’s always had a passion for creating music that “speaks to the soul.”

* He describes his sound as R&B with a touch of soul, “a unique expression of his experiences and emotions.”

* Kolby’s already released music, with two singles currently on streaming sites — “Hello” from 2021 and “Don’t Call” from 2023.

* He’s been teasing the release of a new single called “Woosaah,” but it hasn’t landed yet. You can check out a snippet here.

* Kolby’s also a featured artist on a song called “Way 2 Blessed,” released by Doboy last year and included on his 2025 album “Hollywood Heartbreak.”

* In his ReverbNation bio, Kolby says he’s been singing since age 9. Early inspirations included his father, his grandmother, Jamie Foxx and Tank.

* Kolby’s also been performing with an event band called he 9 Zero Band, which specializes in performing the hottest hits from the 1990s and 2000s.
