Sophie Powers in her new music video, Move with Me

Sophie Powers appears to have completed her reset.

Sophie created a stir when she appeared on an American Idol in mid-March, promised the judges “an absolute tearjerker” of an original song, then launched into the oft-bleeped “STFU.”

She didn’t get a golden ticket. She did release the song as Pixl Girl and Sophie Powers later that week.

Around the same time, Sophie scrubbed some of her social media sites for “a reset.”

Gone is the band-aid she wore on her nose. Gone is the brightly colored clothing.

But she just released another catchy song, “Move with Me.” You can check out the music video below.

Sophie says the lyrics were inspired by the fact that “it’s becoming harder and harder to find someone who seemlessly fits into our busy lives.

“My generation values independence over tradition,” she adds. “Finding a partner isn’t a necessity, but it’s still nice to meet someone who just gets you — who can keep up and move with you.”

The 20-year-old from Toronto had done pretty well wearing the band aid. She has nine singles with more than 1 million views on Spotify.
