Chris and the guys started streaming the full-length version of a new single — “Crawling Back to You” — on the band’s website. Head here for a listen.

Visitors to the website can also pre-order the band’s new album, due out Nov. 21, just in time for the start of the holiday shopping season.

The pre-order price is $9.99 and will get you a free instant download of another new song, “Renegade,” a rocker penned by Chris and bandmate Josh Paul.

Based on those two songs, the band certainly appears poised to follow up on the success of its first two albums.

The band’s debut, “Daughtry,” was simply one of the most successful Idol-related albums ever. The 2009 followup, “Leave This Town,” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and spent six weeks in the top 10.

Coincidentally, “Daughtry” came out on Nov. 21, 2006, which means the new album will come out on the fifth anniversary of that release.

If you want to watch Chris and the guys live, area residents will have a chance to do so on Nov. 12. Daughtry is headlining this year’s American Freedom Festival — a salute to the armed forces — at George Mason University’s Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va.

Tickets are  $39.50 to $139.50 and went on sale Sept. 10 at Ticketmaster.

Oh, and if you haven’t heard “Renegade,” the free download for ordering the album, here it is.
