American Idol’s ratings bounced back nicely this week.

In fact, the total estimated audience for Sunday’s show checked in a 5.36 million.

That’s up slightly from last season’s Top 7 show (5.27 million). That’s up 5 percent over the previous week’s show (5.07 million).

And it’s Idol’s largest audience since the Hollywood Week episode aired back on Feb. 23.

Idol ranked second to the NBA playoff on NBC in the ratings battled with a 0.42 rating among 849 years olds.

That’s up from 0.37 the previous week.

Idol returns Monday night with the Top 5 taking the stage and competing for a spot in the Seson 24 finale.

Original Idol judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will be on hand to mentor the singers. Paula will also serve as a guest judge.
