Here’s a look at where the Idols stand on the latest Billboard music charts, released this week.

Kris Allen: Looks like the critics were right about the season eight Idol coronation song, penned by Kara DioGuardi. It reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, then fizzled. The only other Idol single not to reach the top 10 was Jordin Spark’s “This Is My Now” (season six), which peaked at number 15.

Kelly Clarkson: Her new album’s second single, also penned by DioGuardi, is losing steam. “I Do Not Hook Up” falls from 20 to 24 on the Hot 100 this week. The first single, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” also tumbles, from 27 to 36. But it reached number one. The album also slipped this week, falling from 45 to 56 on the Hot 200.

David Cook: The new single “Come Back to Me” from last year’s Idol champ holds steady at number 11 on the Adult Top 40 chart for the third straight week. His debut album slips from 63 to 72 among the Hot 200.

Daughtry: With the release date for the new album rapidly approaching, Daughtry’s “No Surprise” jumps from 51 to 48 on the Hot 100 singles chart and holds steady at number 14 on the Adult Top 40 chart.

Jennifer Hudson: Her Grammy-winning debut album has dropped out of the top 50 on the R&B chart. But her last single, “If This Is Love,” is still doing well, climbing one spot from 21 to 20 on the R&B singles chart.

Mandisa: “My Deliverer,” her first single off album number two, is showing some staying power on the Hot Christian Singles chart. It’s number 13 for the second week in a row after peaking at number nine.

Kellie Pickler: Fresh off her starring role at the CMT video awards, Kellie gets more good news. The single she performed that night, “Best Years of Your Life,” inches up three more spots on the country singles chart to number 15. Her second album moves up one spot to number 80 on the Hot 100 and to number 18 on the country album chart.

Jordin Sparks: The week’s real success story is “Battlefield,” the lead-in single of Jordin’s soon-to-be released second album. It jumps 19 spots on the Hot 100, from 65 to 46 and eight spots on the Pop 100, from 36 to 28.

Ruben Studdard: “Love Is,” his new album of love songs, continues to head in the wrong direction, down from 25 to 33 on the R&B album chart. It’s no longer among the land’s top 25 independent albums either.

Carrie Underwood: Go figure. She doesn’t have a single on the country charts right now, but Carnival Ride, released nearly two years ago, is still number 13 on the country album chart and number 53 on the Hot 200. The former represents an advance of one spot; the latter a drop from number 47 last week.
