Hey, if you want to launch a new product, why not invite some American Idols and then let them put on a mini concert?

That’s what M&M did Wednesday in New York, using performances by Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox, Michael Lynche and Casey James to introduce a new candy treat — M&M’s with pretzel nuggets inside.

As you can tell from the video above, Idol winner Lee DeWyze performed “The Boxer.” According to a report I read elsewhere, the Idols also treated fans — and it looks like they drew a pretty big crowd — to the duets they performed on the show, including “Falling Slowly” from Lee and Crystal.
