Welcome to the 21st century, American Idol.
The show has finally decided not to hide how well its singers’ singles do on the iTunes charts.
And the results after last night’s Top 9 show?
Well, no singers have cracked the Top 200 on the iTunes singles chart.
But six are showing up on the genre charts, with Caleb Johnson leading the way.
As of 8 p.m. Thursday, Caleb’s cover of Led Zepplin’s “Dazed and Confused” was sitting at 27 on the iTunes rock chart.
Also charting …
Sam Woolf at number 71 on the pop chart with “Hey There, Delilah.”
* Alex Preston at number 91 on the pop chart with “Don’t Speak.”
* Jena Irene at number 69 on the alternative chart with “Bring Me to Life”
* Jess Meuse at number 109 on the alternative chart with “Rhiannon.”
* C.J. Harris at number 187 on the country chart with “If It Hadn’t Been for Love”
