And if you’re a fan of country-rock, you should definitely check it out.
The song is called “Same Beer, Different Day” and, according to Austin’s new website, it’s the first song being released from an upcoming album.
It’s just the second song Austin has released since finishing in the Top 10 on Season 5, following 2014’s “Whatever You Want.”
Austin, from Duvall, Wash., now calls Nashville home. He was 25 when he auditioned for The Voice and landed a spot on Team Blake Shelton with his cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man.”
Pre-Voice, he released a pair of albums — “Coming of Age” in 2009, and “Austin Jenckes and the First Call” in 2011 — and an EP — “American Story” (2012).
You can also follow Austin through his Facebook page. On Twitter, he’s @AustinJenckes. And he’s promising to announce new tour dates soon.
Here’s the new single.
