The battle round begins Monday night on The Voice.

Which means we’re in store for steals and mentors for the first time in Season 13.

Forty-eight contestants landed spots on Season 13; 16 will be gone by the end of the battle round.

It would be more than that except for the fact that each coach has two steals he or she can use to snatch up artists on the verge of elimination.

As for mentors, each coach will have help preparing contestants for the battle round.

And it’ll be quite interesting watching the Team Blake coaching sessions since he’ll have three assistants — the members of the country group Rascal Flatts.

In addition, Jennifer Hudson will get a hand from Kelly Rowland, Joe Jonas will be on hand to assist Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus will get help from her dad, one-time country star Billy Ray Cyrus.
