Addison Agen: A look back at her performances on The Voice

Addison Agen of The Voice Season 13 Addison Agen owes it all to her Spanish teacher.

Not the talent, of course. Nor the song-writing ability.

But The Voice opportunity? Most definitely.

Addison told Dominique Digital that her Spanish teacher heard her sing the national anthem one day and was impressed, having no idea Addison had been singing most of her life.

“She was like, I think I’m going to sign you up for The Voice auditions,” Addison, 16, recalls. “I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s sort of random.'”

But the teacher followed through, then rented a car to drive Addison and her mom to the open call auditions in Chicago.

Several months later, Addison is in the final four on Season 13. Monday night, she’ll perform alongside Brooke Simpson, Chloe Kohanski and Red Marlow for the Season 13 title.

“This is so unplanned for me, but I’m so, so thankful to be here,” Addison said.

By the way, did you know Addison has a special talent? She can play “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” on her teeth. Really. Head here to see her do it.
