The Voice has announced battle round advisers for its upcoming Season 14.
As if Blake Shelton needed any more firepower in his corner, he’ll be assisted by country music superstar Trace Adkins.
Alicia Keys will be assisted by pop artist Shawn Mendes, while Hailee Steinfeld and Julia Michaels will provide a more youthful perspective for Team Kelly Clarkson and Team Adam Levine, respectively.
Steinfield is an actress and singer who made her breakthrough performance as Mattie Ross in the 2010 remake of “True Grit.”
She performed her latest single, “Let Me Go,” with Alesso and featuring Florida Georgia Line and WATT at the American Music Awards in November. The song is currently number 42 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Julia Michaels has penned songs for Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony and Demi Lovato and saw her own debut single, “Issues,” hit the Top 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. “Issues” is now up for a Grammy as song of the year and Julia is nominated as best new artist.
She also spent part of 2017 on tour opening for Mendes.
Here are photos released by NBC of the coach-mentor pairings for Season 14.
The Voice returns Feb. 26.
