But she’s also asking fans for a bit of patience.
The Season 13 winner announced earlier this week that she’s heading back to L.A. to film something and asked fans to guess what it is.
She hasn’t revealed yet, but some fans suggested it might be her first music video.
While she announced on Instagram that she’ll be in L.A. for a month or so writing and recording, Chloe said that doesn’t mean a debut album is right around the corner.
“If anybody is expecting me to have a full-length record in less that a month, I’m here to tell you that’s not physically possible,” she wrote on Twitter late Thursday night.
“This is my first step as an ARTIST, not just a ‘former voice contestant.’ I am going to put everything I have into making music I am PROUD of.”
“Trust me when I tell you that my record will be worth the wait.”
Earlier on Twitter, she assured fans that she is making plans to record new music with Republic Records.
Longtime Voice fans can be forgiven if they’re a bit anxious.
After all, Chloe’s the potential breakout artist the show has been waiting for, but Republic has a dubious record when it comes to accomplishing anything — or even releasing music — with past winners of the show.
As for musical direction, Chloe addressed that in a recent Facebook post.
“I’m trying to find the balance between the original soul and attitude of classic/timeless/iconic rock n roll … but also something tangible and easy to relate to and listen to in this modern age. I don’t want anyone to feel left out when it comes to my music.
“I want to spark an interest in you. I want to make you sit on your floor and really listen to a record … start to finish. I want you to dance with your friends and family and cry in your room all to the same record.
“Is this possible? I’m not sure. But I’ll be damned if I don’t try to make something legendary.”
