Earlier this month, Allison Iraheta and husband Matthew Hager released the song “Narcissist,” which pokes fun at a society where so many people seem determined to draw attention to themselves on social media.
In the music video, released over the weekend, Allison pretends to be one of those people, whether she’s relaxing by a pool, driving around L.A. or even sitting in her bathroom.
“The most fun we’ve ever had making a music video!” Allison wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Halo Circus has launched a pre-order on its website for the upcoming album, “Robots and Wranglers,” expected to be released in mid-March.
A digital download is $10, a signed CD costs $20 and all sorts of other goodies are available. Halo Circus is also auctioning off some of the clothing worn in the “Narcissist” video.
And as mentioned in an earlier blog, the duo is planning a 24-date tour that will include stops at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh (April 6) and Bourbon and Branch in Philly (April 11).
Here’s the music video for “Narcissist.”
Allison finished fourth on Season 8 of American Idol.
