Zach and Colton Swon, The Swon Brothers, have released a new single.

As young as they still are, The Swon Brothers are yearning for the good old days when there wasn’t so much animosity.

And that’s the focus of the new single they dropped Friday called “What Ever Happened.”

The song is the first The Swon Brothers have released in which they were the sole writers, Colton Swon, 29, said in a Facebook live chat earlier this week.

It’s also the first single from the former standouts on The Voice since they released an EP called “Pretty Cool Scars” last March.

“It’s a very personal song to say the least,” said Zach Swon, who just turned 33. “We were sitting in this very room just having a conversation about the good old days and how the world has changed a lot.”

Adds Colton: “The main message behind the song is to spread love.”

As they like to do, the brothers have been playing the song live since November to test it out before deciding to release it as their new single.

That includes a performance at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this month that you can catch a snippet of on their Facebook page.

During the Facebook live chat, the brothers also said they’d be announcing tour dates soon. To keep track, you can also check out their website.

And if you happen to be in Vegas in mid-April, they’ll be playing an ACM After-Party for a Cause show that also includes Season 7 Voice winner Craig Wayne Boyd and Season 2 American Idol standout Josh Gracin.

AMC Party for a Cause raises money for music therapy programs.

The Swon Brothers are the most successful duo ever to compete on The Voice, finishing third in Season 4.

Here’s the new single.
