Now Red is about to release his first post-show album.
And, judging from its title — “Country as Cornbread” — Red will be serving up more of that traditional sounding country music.

Pre-orders for the 10-song album began Thursday (March 22) on iTunes. And Red has also released the first song from the album, ‘My House in Heaven.” The full album is expected April 6.

Red was 40 when he auditioned for The Voice and had already released three country EPs that are still available.
Four times during his run on the show he cracked the Top 10 on the iTunes overall singles chart. An original he wrote called “I Pray” hit number three on that chart and number one on the iTunes country singles chart.
