Former The Voice standout Juliett Simms released her new single “Take Me” on Friday.

Former The Voice rocker Juliet Simms released her first new music in nearly two years Friday.

It’s a song called “Take Me,” and it’s a slow and soulful love song brought to life by Juliet’s trademark vocals.

“This song holds a very special place in my heart,” Juliet writes on Instagram, “and as a songwriter I hope I was able to convey to you the passion, emotion, sorrow and love I felt when writing it.”

She’s promising to follow up the song’s release with a music video.

We last got new music from Juliet in the summer of 2016 when she released her “From the Grave” EP.

It marked her second EP since finishing second on Season 2 of The Voice in the spring of 2012. Pre-Voice, she was lead singer for the alt-rock band Automatic Love Letter.

Here’s “Take Me.”
