Britton Buchanan was the very first contestant we met on Season 14 of The Voice.

During that episode, he turned three coaches’ chairs with his performance of “Trouble.”

He also had the distinction of being the first contestant ever subjected to a block on the U.S. version of The Voice.

Blake Shelton tried to prevent Britton from joining Team Adam Levine. Instead, he joined Alicia Keys.

And now he’s her only singer in the Season 14 finals. He’ll be competing for the title Monday night against Brynn Cartelli, Spensha Baker and Kyla Jade.

Here’s a look back at Britton’s Voice performances so far.
