Caleb Johnson has recorded his own version of Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell album.

Turns out Caleb Johnson won’t just be singing songs from Meat Loaf’s classic “Bat Out of Hell” album in shows this fall.

Caleb has also recorded his own version of “Bat” with Meat Loaf’s Neverland Band.

And that seven-song selection, mimicking the 1977 album, is available for download from the Bat Experience website.

Earlier this month, Caleb announced that he’d be singing songs off “Bat Out of Hell” at a series of shows beginning in late September.

Reports from some media outlets indicated Meat Loaf would at those shows too, sharing stories about the creation of the songs and the album.

That said, there’s no indication of that on Meat Loaf’s Facebook page or mention of it on the Facebook page for The Bat Experience.

Shows announced so far include an Oct. 19 date in Jim Thorpe, Pa. Tickets are on sale now.

In addition to the five Bat Experience shows announced to date, Caleb also announced he’ll be joining the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the East Coast and West Coast dates of an arena tour this winter.

And he’s promised information soon on a new single, video and album of his own.

Since winning Idol Season 13, Caleb has released an album and a pair of singles, but nothing since 2016.

The announced Bat Experience tour dates:

Sept. 27: Lava Cantina The Colony in The Colony, Texas
Sept. 29: Atlantic Casino Hotel Spa in North Las Vegas, Nev.
Oct. 19: Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa.
Oct. 21: Westhampton Beach, N.Y.
March 2: Effingham Performance Center in Effingham, N.Y.
