If you haven’t heard the news, Kelly Clarkson has announced a tour that will begin in early 2019 and support her “Meaning of Life” album.
And major, major kudos to Kelly on this: She’s taking along Season 14 Voice winner Brynn Cartelli as her opening act on every one of the tour’s 28 dates.
The tour kicks off Jan. 24 in Oakland, Calif., and runs through March 30 with a show in Greenville, S.C.
Kelsea Ballerini will also open on most dates.
And area fans will want to circle March 16 on their calendar. That’s when Kelly, Brynn and Kelsea will land at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. Tickets range from $25 to $116 plus fees and are already available.
Says Kelly in a press release announcing the tour: “Meaning of Life’ is the album I always wanted to make and I am so excited to finally be able to tour it.
“Even while recording it, I couldn’t wait for people to experience the music live, to not only hear it, but feel it. It has taken almost a year of planning, and I can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”
Brynn, with Kelly as her coach, won Season 14 of The Voice, becoming the show’s youngest winner ever at age 15.
She’s since signed a management deal with Brandon Blackstock, Kelly’s husband.
“Two years ago, I was just one of the BIGGEST @kellyclarkson fangirls,” Brynn wrote on Instagram. “Now to join the stage with her and @KelseaBallerini feels like a dream come true.”
