Monday’s takeaway on The Voice: The coaches have a history with a couple of the Season 15 contestants, one they’re unlikely to brag about.
Zaxai was a usher at the Radio City Music Hall during a Kelly Clarkson performance.
She inadvertently kicked him in the head during a song.
Erika Zade approached Blake Shelton after a show and presented him with one of her demo CDs.
He prompted signed it and handed it to another fan. Oops.
Said Blake: “There’s a good chance I was drinking that day.”
In spite of their dubious pasts, Kelly and Blake managed to snag five more singers during the blind audition episode that aired Monday night.
