Lynnea Moore defied the odds in more ways than one to make The Voice Season 15 Top 13 Tuesday night.

Sure, she fought her way back to the show through the Comeback Stage, winning two rounds of online competition.

But that just set the stage for an on-air showdown with Ayanna Joni on Tuesday’s live playoffs results show, where a Twitter vote would determine the winner.

Ayanna is New York-based; Lynnea is from Monterey, Calif.

And while Tuesday marked the first time for a live Comeback Stage vote on The Voice, a West Coast contestant has never won a Twitter save on The Voice.

Ayana performed “No Tears Left to Cry.” Lynnea countered with “Boo’d Up.”

And it turned into an overwhelming win for Lynnea, who had 85 percent of the Twitter vote when The Voice took down the results just prior to announcing the winner.

Lynnea, 19 at the time of her blind audition, then opted to join Team Kelly Clarkson for the Season 15 live finals.

Lynnea credited Comeback Stage coach Kelsea Ballerini for helping her overcome her shyness and feel more comfortable performing on stage.

She described the Comeback Stage as a great opportunity.

“Just because you don’t make it the first time doesn’t mean you can’t make it the next time. Just keep trying and trying.”

Here are the performances from Monday’s show.
